Allow us to quickly introduce ourselves, Near North Photography. Also known as Carlie and Samuel Duquette, recently married influencer-photographer duo. A small town girl and a city boy (any Journey fans?) teaming up to make the most out of life together.
Near North Photography started as a small idea. A way to pass time and keep sane when the pandemic started back in 2020 (right after our wedding). Sam was going through his old photos and a fire lit inside him.
From product to lifestyle.
That fire lead Sam on a path to learn as much as possible about photography, which in turn sparked another passion about product photography. Both Sam and Carlie have worked with a few brands and are constantly looking for more brands to work with.
Product photography is where it all started but as the seasons changed so did the ambition to capture more, Our family loves to spend as much time as possible outdoors, hiking, camping, exploring, you name it. It only makes sense that earthscapes were to be added to list of photography we like to shoot.
As our love for photography expanded, so did our methods of shooting, we started experimenting with portraits and discovered a knack for capturing the little things in our lives. Near North Photography started after we decided to combine both knowledge about this art and make it into a business.
